Palm Grove Lodge is situated on a pristine beach with the crystal clear waters of the Indian ocean. It is 485kms north of Maputo, access is on tarred roads until the last 7kms leading to the lodge which are gravel. Palm Grove is a secluded un-spoilt beach bordered by the Inhambane estuary on one side and the sea on the other. The warm waters offer safe bathing and smooth and easy boat launching. Fishing grounds and diving reefs are nearby and the largely unexplored reefs offer endless pleasures for skin divers and snorkler's. The lodge is nestled amongst the coconut groves and has a wonderful beach.

Accommodation consist of Casas which are 08 sleeper chalets. They have 03 bedrooms and two people sleep on lounge beds.
The Casitas are 04 sleeper chalets and has 01 bed room and two people on lounge beds.
Each cottage has its own open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room, and a patio. All the basic amenities are supplied including a fridge, 3-plate gas stove, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, utensils, linen and mosquito netting.
There is a 12 sleeper Self catering chalet, 3 double bed rooms en-suite and 2 x rooms with 3 bunk beds (6 people)
PLEASE TAKE OWN TOWELS AND BEACH TOWELS & FANS.

Electricity is provided 24 hours.
Warm water is supplied by a “donkey” . Each casa will be supplied with a helper/cleaner from 07H00 – 17H00.

Palm Grove Lodge has a restaurant and a communal braai area with a bar. Activities available – Diving, fishing, snorkeling.
There are many other activities available in the Barra Area.
