Morrungulo Camp B (Nelson bay) - The resort is at the end of a 13 km sand road for which a 4x4 is recommended. The road takes you through the coconut groves and past many local settlements. Morrungulo is situated in an unspoiled natural bay amongst thousands of palm trees, Morrungulo is considered by many as the most picturesque area on the mainland south of the Bazaruto Islands. The beach stretches for about 60km leaving plenty of space for everyone.

Morrungulo has a large campsite situated 20 m from the beach amongst the palm trees and has abundant shade as well as fresh drinking water and ablutions. Thatched baracas with plug points can be hired. These are 4m by 4m shelters ideal for larger groups as they can be turned into a kitchen or living area.

BUNGALOWS (2 bed): there are 5 of these 2 bed self cater units situated in the north of the camp.
No. 1, 2 & 4 have double beds. Each has one shower cum toilet, one bedroom and kitchen area. The bungalow is equipped with deep freeze, 2 plate gas stove, crockery, cutlery, pots, etc. Blankets and mosquito nets are supplied but clients MUST BRING THEIR OWN SHEETS, TOWELS AND PILLOW CASE COVERS and toiletries, as these are not supplied. Bungalows 1 to 3 are on the beachfront. No 4 and No. 5 are situated slightly behind.
Extra guests pay R 125 per adult and R 65 per child.

BUNGALOW NO. (8 BED BEACHFRONT): This unit has 4 bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, the others contain 2 single beds in each. 2 bathrooms, a large fully equipped kitchen with big deepfreeze, large gas stove and oven, lounge/dining area, private braai area. Mosquito nets, blankets and bedcovers are supplied but guests MUST BRING THEIR OWN SHEETS, TOWELS AND PILLOW CASE COVERS and toiletries.

BUNGALOW NO. 6( 8 bed-Not on beachfront): Situated next to dive school operators. This unit has 4 bedrooms, with 2 single beds in each, a large dining/kitchen area, 2 bathrooms, deepfreeze, 3 plate gas stove. Blankets and mosquito nets are supplied but clients MUST BRING THEIR OWN SHEETS, TOWELS AND PILLOW CASE COVERS and toiletries, as these are not supplied).

BARRACAS (Lapa) There are 17 of these open thatched 4m x 4 m concrete floored structures that each have a power point (5 amp). Nos. 2 to 11 are situated on the beachfront. Most campers utilise these as a central living area and camp around the barraca.
Barraca 18 is bigger than the other barracas and has private showers and toilets.
There is also The double barraca that has an upstairs floor.

Only SILENT private generators allowed in camp, if taking own.
GENERATOR HOURS 12 NOON TO 10PM.
Only SILENT private generators are permitted in our camp. It is essential that clients bring a cable
50 - 70m long in case the generator needs to be moved away from other campers.
Under no circumstances do we allow guests to run noisy ones, as this disturbs others.
Generators may not be run before 6 am, between 12 noon - 3 pm or after our generator goes off at 10 pm.

Fishing licences : 400 000 meticias/500 000 meticais - spear fishing.

Morrungulo has a fully comprehensive dive charter operation. This is one of the better known diving spots in Mozambique.
No clients may camp around the chalets unless prior arrangements have been made with the management.
