The main feature of Cafe Del Mar is it's amazing ocean view. Built on a wooden deck, and overlooking the whole of Ponta do Ouro, this place has a rare chilled out African vibe that most people crave for on a weekend getaway.

Cafe Del Mar consists of a 3 star Mediterranean styled restaurant and specializes in Italian and French dishes like Pasta's, lasagna's and the legendry French crepes as the more delicate appetizers. We naturally also serve great seafood dishes, which include calamari, fish, crab, crayfish (when in season), and the best prawns in town. We like to offer the best of both worlds to our clients and therefore also serve fantastic meat dishes like chicken curry, beef bouvignon and awesome fillet steak for those warm-blooded meat lovers.

Except for the great food, we also have a cocktail bar with the real spicy tropical vibe and the latest chill-out tunes from Europe.

Cafe Del Mar has twelve island-style, reeded chalet's, which can sleep up to 24 people in total. These chalets can be fitted with one double bed or two single beds and includes a fan, power point, cabinets for personal belongings and naturally, mosquito nets. There's a communal bathroom facility for the ladies and gents respectably, with warm water and power points. This spot is kept spotless right through the day and will astound even the hardest perfectionist.
