Blue Anchor Inn is a family run lodge situated on the main road about 50km north of Maputo, catering for all travellers who are looking for a secure, comfortable, and affordable stop-over accommodation on their way up to Inhambane and beyond.
The 'Blue Anchor Inn' has a fully licensed bar as well as a restaurant that prides itself with good quality food, specializing in fresh Mozambican fare like flat chicken, prawns, calamari and line fish.
Accommodation is simple yet comfortable.
Rooms
“Family Cottage” sleeps 8 and is perfect for a large family or group. This is rented out as a complete and independant unit.
There various smaller chalets providing a selection of 2 x double beds per chalet, 1x double bed per chalet, or simply a single bed unit. All the chalets have en-suite bathrooms.
The main building has “Inn” style rooms with dedicated bathrooms. All the rooms are tastefully decorated, with Mosquito nets and electric fans. All the chalets are located in a beautiful shady garden setting where there is plenty of space for the kids to work off the long journey and play safely.
